Melissa Gorga and the Green Dress She Might Not Have Been Wearing, But Was In My Head

So, I was watching Real Housewives of New Jersey (yes, I watch it, and no, I carry no shame associated to it), I kept seeing Melissa Gorga give interviews in this one top (or dress? I'm not even sure.)

I loved it. The color KEPT catching my eye, to the point where I was pointing it out to people, and they'd be like, "There it is again!" every time it showed up on screen. (Sometimes I watch RHONJ in a group, what of it?)

It's entirely possible that Melissa was wearing this amazing Herve Legere dress... which is neither in my price range nor my size (nothing about me is XXS, except maybe my budget).

So, Herve was out, but but immediately, I needed something in that color. Yes, NEED. As in, couldn't-stop-thinking-about-it. As in I'd-rather-buy-it-than-eat-cake-which-is-a-big-deal-cuz-I-like-cake.

I wanted a nice, deep forest green something, not teal, not aqua... nothing too grassy or limey...

And then the internet gods smiled down upon me, and I found this dress...
